The M5 is quite refined with generous sound deadening and heavy muffling in the exhaust, muting the 4.4Ls intoxicating symphony but we have a solution. Evaluation of the factory midpipes reveals a very high flowing and relatively smooth flowing design. BMW incorporated a factory break point for upgraded exhausts and the rear section is what holds the exhaust back. The Soul Resonated Muffler Bypass Exhaust forgoes the factory mufflers for a clamp on, 3 straight pipe design with the addition of race resonators to minimize drone. The straight through design of our race resonators encourages maximum power and sound under heavy throttle while cutting down on harsh frequencies that can make their way into the cabin and cause droning on partial throttle and during cruising conditions. This is the ideal solution to pair with aftermarket downpipes to prevent drone and raspiness. The Y pipe setup exiting out through quad tips encourages equal exhaust distribution and tip adjustability to allow for either a flush or staggered appearance in the bumper.
