The ACT SB020 Heavy Duty Pressure Plate is one of the most popular units available from the ACT line of components. The Heavy Duty Pressure Plate utilizesan exclusive diaphragm design to increase the clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. The diaphragms endure a four stage, heat-treating process for better performance, reliability, and longevity. ACT’s Heavy Duty Pressure Plates will increase clamp loads by up to 50 percent, and they are recommendedfor use with either the street, or race disc.
