The pressure plate is Race Engineered and SFI approved with significant load increase over the stage one and two pressure plates (+600-800 lbs.). The Stage three clutch has an increased pedal feel of 20%-25%. South Bend Clutch discs are assembled in factory with heat-treated wear resistant hubs, drive plates and springs for high load transfer and dependable and durable operation. The sprung disc centers in conjunction with the marcel fin between the linings create a dual dampening effect that simulates an OEM start performance. A Performance Organic friction material with a high metal content increases torque and RPM capability and maintains low operating temperatures which reduces wear and prolongs clutch life. Recommended for daily driving, spirited street and occasional track and for use with a single mass flywheel when original design is a Dual Mass Flywheel
